Bachelor of Engineering Management
You are well-qualified in theory and practice after completing your Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Management. You are qualified to evaluate technical solutions with regard to economic aspects, use these solutions for the benefit of the company by applying commercial principles and to recognize the effects of decisions on employees, technology, markets and the environment. This means that as a industrial engineer you are responsible for an important interface function between commercial and technical areas. You typically work in Controlling, Scheduling, Technical Planning, Logistics, Project Management, as well as Industrial Purchasing and Sales.
As a student at the DHBW Karlsruhe, you regularly change between theoretical and practical training phases during three years of study. The study program starts at the DHBW in Karlsruhe in October after a pre-university internship in the company.
